"The Benefit of Intention" 

Learning and Leaning into Wellness

Wednesday, September 20 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Community Activity Center, Bldg. 3711 Aerobee Rd. 

This face-to-face summit will provide a one day holistic approach to our wellness. There will be a plenary session and several breakout sessions with multiple dynamic speakers. 

Stay for the entire event or pick and choose your sessions. 

Registration opens August 14. Free event, lunch provided

Plenary Session: 9 - 10 a.m.

An insightful class centered around the powerful practice of gratitude.

An open discussion on stress and how it can impact our quality of life.

When we think of stretching, what typically comes to mind is the mundane obligatory movements we learned in physical education long ago as a means of "warming up" We are going to take it up a few notches through the practice of self-stretching, partner stretching, and self-massage. 

  • "Let's Get Physical: Incorporating Exercise into Your Wellness Routine Minus the Stress"

We all know the benefits of exercise and increased physical activity, though many of us struggle with committing to it for one reason or another. We will focus on making the most out of what is readily available to you; your body weight with options to incorporate easily accessible items to elevate your workout.

"Connect to Protect: Support is Within Reach"
Learn the Army's suicide prevention strategy: Ask, Care, Escort and why building connections is the first step in making a positive impact when people are struggling. 

Panel Discussion/Closing Remarks: 2:30 - 3 p.m.
