The Army Volunteer Corps (AVC) provides placement opportunities for Volunteers based on interest and agency needs. The IV program manager assists volunteer organizations with recruitment, training, and guidance for volunteer recognition. Joining the Redstone Arsenal volunteer team enables you to gain valuable work experience while helping others. Volunteers support the installations mission in a variety of capacities.
Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteers provide support to service-members (active duty, NG and Reserve), Retirees, Civilians, Family members, and Survivors of our Fallen Heroes.
Child and Youth Services (CYS) is also accepting youth volunteers (six to eighteen years old). All volunteers must be able to pass all background checks.
