COVID-19 Requirements

Family and MWR Facility Openings. Please view the COVID-19 requirements for each facility before visiting.  You can find current hours of operations by visiting the facility page.

Redstone Lanes Bowling Center 

  • Bowling
    • Reservations and prepayment are strongly encouraged.
    • 2-hour maximum time per reservation
    • Shoes and bowling balls will be pre-placed at your assigned lane at your arrival.
  • Strike Zone
    • Strike Zone food service available for carryout only. Call in orders may be made at (256) 842-2695
    • Bowlers may purchase food/drink from Strike Zone and dine at their lane.
  • Safety Assurances For Our Customers
    • Customers are required to wear face masks, except when eating, drinking, or going up to bowl. 
    • Staff will wear face masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines while interacting with customers
    • Every other lane will be closed to provide adequate distance between customers.
    • Customers are required to leave all shoes and bowling balls at their lane upon departure.
    • The self-service soda fountain and condiment station will remain closed.
    • Brooklyn's Sports Bar and the amusement area will remain closed, however, the solarium will be open for electronic bingo with restrictions.

Fitness Centers (No guests allowed at this time)

  • Pagano Gym
    • Every other piece of equipment will be marked off to allow adequate distancing.
    • Locker rooms is open for restrooms and limited lockers. 
    • Racquetball courts, group fitness rooms, function fitness, and stretching rooms remain closed.
    • Basketball games are not permitted.
    • Only 4 people allowed to use the basketball court at any given time with 2 people at each basket. 
    • Face masks are to be worn when entering, at the swipe in station, when walking throughout the facility and when 6' distance cannot be maintained.
    • Face masks may be removed while working out. 
    • Wipe equipment after use. 
  • COL Scott Fitness Center
    •  Every other piece of equipment will be marked off to allow adequate distancing.
    • Locker rooms are closed. 
    • Face masks are to be worn when entering, at the swipe in station, when walking throughout the facility, and when 6' distance cannot be maintained.
    • Face masks may be removed while working out.
    • Wipe equipment after use.

Outdoor Recreation

  • Face masks are required when entering the facility, signing in/out equipment and when 6' social distancing cannot be maintained.

Automotive Skills Center

  • Face masks are required when entering the facility and waiting in the lobby area.
  • Face masks are required when engaged with staff and when 6' distance cannot be maintained.
  • Face masks may be removed while working alone in bay or with family members. 
  • Tool boxes have been removed from bays for your safety. Tools will need to be checked out. 
  • DIY assistance is limited. If you need more than minimal assistance, please schedule an appointment for full service. 

 

Arts & Crafts

  •  Face masks are required when entering the facility and when placing orders in the framing department. 
  • Please maintain 6' distance or wear mask when engaging with staff at all times. 

 

Information, Tickets, and Reservations Office (ITR)

  • Face Masks are required when entering office and when 6ft social distancing can't be maintained.
  • Please call in advance in regards to refunds or to check current ticket availability. 

 

Leisure Travel 

  • The Leisure Travel Office has one Travel Specialist to serve you, therefore, appointments are strongly encouraged.
  • Face masks are required at all times in this office.

 

Redstone MWR Library

  • Curbside Pickup available 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Tuesday - Friday and 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Saturday (beginning August 25)
  • Customers will need to place holds online via our online catalog. Holds are a max of 20 items.
    • If you do not have an account, please visit the Redstone MWR Library page and click the email us button to request and account. It will take 1-3 days for the account to be set up. 
  • When orders are ready, customers will receive an automated email. 
  • A table will be set up outside the Library. Customers will simply call upon arrival. Staff will deliver items to customer. 
  • Customers and staff will be requried to wear a mask during pick up process. 
  • Customers will continue to use drop box outside the building for returns. 
  • Returns will be disinfected before next checkout.
