Dance Class
This class builds on the creative movement ideas using basic ballet, tap and jazz moves. Classes are for children 3-5 years old.

Dance Company
The Dance Company offers a complete curriculum of dance styles ranging from Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Pom, Hip Hop, and Acrobatics all in one class. Classes are for children Kindergarten and up.
Company I (K-3rd) Mondays & Wednesdays, 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Company II (4th and up) Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Art Classes
(Currently not available)Art I: In this class children will learn about focal point, the color wheel, primary and secondary colors and 2-D and 3-D art work. Classes are for children 4-5 years old.
Tuesdays 10 - 11 a.m.

Art II: In this class children will experiment with 2-D and 3-D media using watercolor, print, acrylics, clay and origami. They will learn the basic principles of composition, color theory. Primary, secondary, and complementary colors. Classes are for children Kindergarten - 18 years old.
Wednesdays 4:30 - 6 p.m.

Taekwondo
In this class students are taught discipline, focus, and fitness through martial arts. Classes are for children 4- 18 years old. Parents can participate if their child is enrolled.
Level I (white, green, & yellow belts) Tuesdays & Thursdays 5 - 6 p.m.
Level II (blue, red & black belts) Tuesdays & Thursdays 6 - 7 p.m.
All belts Saturdays 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.

Jump Start Music Development:

This class is designed to give each child a jump start to a lifetime of learning music. Children will learn the fundamentals of rhythm, reading music, piano and will be able to move seamlessly into taking any music lessons. Classes are for children 3-5 years old.

Piano Class
This class offers small group piano lessons for beginners to advanced pianist. Classes are for children 6-18 years old.

Music Lessons
SKIES offers a variety of music lesson to include guitar, trumpet and flute. These are private 30 minute sessions for children 8-18 years old.

Academy of Arts (AOA) is an instructional program that provides extracurricular opportunities for the children and youth of the Redstone Arsenal Community.
AOA offers dance classes for CDC and school age children, music classes for school age children and Taekwondo classes for ages 5-18.
The cost of these programs is extremely competitive with those of similar program offered in the community.
These programs are designed to provide children and youth opportunities to participate in innovative programs with highly competent instructors that enhance the development of its participants.
Registration for Academy of Arts (AOA) programs are completed through Parent Central Services, located inside the Pershing Welcome Center, Building 3443 call +1(256)876-3704.
